She loves Country!

Payton loves country music! Carrie Underwood is one of her favorite, followed by Martina Mcbride at a close second. For those of you who know my husband, this makes him very said, because he is a Hip Hop junkie. You name it he knows and will give you his opinion on it whether he thinks it is crap or not. He likes other music as well, like Bruce, Sting, and a bunch of off the wall stuff too. But Hip Hop is he favorite. So when his little girl professed her love for country I saw part of him weep. She likes to play it loud! I of course find humor in this. Hail to Carrie Underwood.

PS
Michael is going to the Hip Hop Honors in October and needless to say he is beyond ecstatic.

I HATE football with a vengence!

It takes normally sane individuals and makes complete idiots of them. But then again they must not of been too sane in the first place. I don't get it. Not only do they loose there ever loving minds they expect every one else to understand and travel on the ridiculous journey with them. I will be what they call a football widow for the next seven months or so. Which is bad for me, because if I were a real widow, I would be sitting nicely for the remainder of the life, lonely but nicely. But because I am a football widow the most I will see out of this is maybe 300 lousy bucks and I want even see that because he would pocket it. I really don't get upset because I would not won't to have any part of money that comes from gambling. That being said, this blog entry is dedicated to all of my fellow FOOTBALL WIDOWS! May this season RIP quickly!

Mom I want to be a 38D!

I recently took a trip to help someone find a bra, and of course since I travel very few places without my girls, (no not those girls, my children), I had them both with me. Any who, while this individual was being measured Payton was playing with the bras of course. After the measurement process, Payton is getting a little restless, so I have her help me find a size 38d to passed the time. She is such a great helper she comes back with about 8 of them. The bras are being tried on and then I hear from the others side of the rack (no pun intended) Mom I want to be a 38d. All of the women the store are laughing hysterically, as Payton stands there completely CLUELESS. I told her to be care full what she asks for!

Do you know your hair is parted funny?

Most of you know I have taken on a new hair style. I have gone natural, (no harsh chemicals, no straightening and no unnatural curling). This is less work but twice a month I have to comb it out so it does not get so "NAPPY". Well anyway I was combing it out the other day and Michael walks into the bedroom and says do you know your head is parted funny? "Yes, I know". Did you do that on purpose?, he continued. I rolled my eyes and walked downstairs. Marquis stood at the bottom of the stairs and confronted me with exact same questions. De ja vu, I say! Anyway I just looked at him and said I know, this is my new style, do you like it? NO, Marquis, replied and walk away. Do I care, no. Mike and Marquis can both get lives. That is the problem living with to men who are so completely into there looks, they definitely question me anytime they deem necessary. That is sometime good and sometimes not so good.

Chicken Again!

We like to torture our kids, it is fun. The other night we were sitting down to eat dinner and Payton complains about the fact that we are having chicken AGAIN. "We always have chicken don't they sell anything else at the store." I said, "they do but you complain when we have things other then chicken". She said, Oh, I forgot. Well to her dismay, that night we were not having chicken it was pot roast and the night before we had steak. We just tell Payton everything is chicken so she will shut her trap about not liking anything but CHICKEN! Just like we have had broccoli races for forever just to get her to eat. She is a sly one I figure I have another year or so before she realizes it ain't chicken. Oh well, I am sure by then I will have come up with something else.

Newest Pictures

This one of the latest photos off Phee, as you see she growing like a weed and rocking a Mohawk. I figured it is sticking up anyway I may as well make the most of it. She is doing well, loves her older siblings. She thinks they are so funny. Just wait soon they will be bossing her around and she won't think it is funny.

I will hold her to her promise!

Payton was recently holding Phoenix while I got dress, and in the midst of this she is telling how much she loves her little sister. She also stated that when she is sixteen she will babysit her sister and take her everywhere. I told her that when she is sixteen Phoenix will be eleven and won't really need babysitting but if she wanted to hang out with her that would be fine. My dear daughter promised she would take her sister everywhere even on dates. I told her that was a great idea, and when the time came I would be sure she kept her promise!
