Yes, I am traveling to Wisconsin next week and staying now for three weeks. I was originally staying for 13 days but then I found out someone I would love to see is going to be there so I am staying a week so I can spend time with her. Anyway Wisconsin is a great place to visit but I don't think I could live there. Number one reason is because it is too cold. I like being ten minutes away from the beach. I like barbquing in the dead of winter. But three weeks should be long enough for me to visit and not feel rushed. Mike and I both come from big families so it always seems like we are never on vacation when we go there. Hopefully me and the girls will have time to do what we want and when we want. Anyway I just really want a Cousin's Sub and some thick Bacon. Yes thick bacon!

Kids today are being ripped off.
Payton has been saving money for about a year now, she has three sections in her bank, one for Savings, Fun, and Mission. Well the bank was full so I thought it was finally time for her to learn the banking side of life. So we decided to make a big deal of it. The first time went I did not have her birth certificate so we could not do it. The next time we went the bank did not have a coin couting machine so we could not do it. Yes, the BANK did not have one! They were expecting us to take home these little paper coin holders and wrap it. I laughed. Then she suggested two other locations that had a coin counting machine. So we go to one of those locations and of course they do not have the machine either. Lucky for me Payton had two dollars in her bank so she was able to open the account with that. It was really cute. when we got there she signed in; waited to be called and took care of her business. I was really proud she did it all with little help from MOMMY. So a few days ago we are in the local Piblix grocery and hot diggity they have a coin couting machine. So Payton, Phoenix and I run back to the car to grab the loot. I get to the machine only to dicover that she would be charged 8% for the machine to count her money. YIKES! 8% percent I thought what a rip off. In that same thought I thought why didn't I think of that. Oh well. So I tell Payton to start dumping and she does, about half way through the machine stops and says "please see attendant". We call for an attendant, she comes and says the machine is full and they need to change the bags. Payton smiles, "I knew I had a lot of money" she says! The clerk opens up the machine to find that the pennies and nickels are full. As she grabs the nickels they all spill on to the floor. There was A LOT of nickels on the floor. Payton is laughing and I am standing there just waiting for Phoenix to wake up screaming to be nursed. I would have left but we were halfway vested in this venture so we waited. After all the nickels have made it safely back into the bag. The machine is ready to continue, when all is said and done Payton leaves with just under $72. Not bad. But I still don't think that 8% is fair!

We use to be DINKS!
I was recently doing some cleaning (Phoenix took a nap and stayed asleep without me holding her)! So I decided I needed to clean up some paperwork we no longer needed. So there I was in the garage with Payton shredding paper like we were former Enron employees and low and behold I came across some of our hold tax returns from when we were DINKS= Double Income no Kids! I laugh granted the money is more now but it seems to be spent on anything but us. So I guess now we would be considered SITKS= Single Income Three Kids! Being a STIKS is more fun. By the way Payton loved the shredding.

Was She Conceived in Phoenix?
What the heck kind of question is that? We were out to dinner with my friend Stephanie and her husband Sean last night for Stephanie's birthday. Phoenix was in her seat minding her own business when a waitress came up to talk to us about the baby. She asks the basics like; how old is she and what is her name. We of course reply. Then she goes on to ask, WAS SHE CONCEIVED IN PHOENIX? Michael politely answers no, with a bewildered look on his face. The waitress professes that we must be asked that all the time. Michael proceeds to tell her know this is the first time anyone has ever ask where my daughter was conceived. I personally think that was kind of rude but I guess that is what we get for name our daughter after a city, but still I don't find it tactful to ask someone where they got busy if you know what I mean. Besides Phoenix is named Phoenix because it means PURPLE in Greek and Purple is my favorite color. Have a nice day!

Sorry I missed the Blessing!!!!!!!!!!
So this weekend we traveled three hours to where we used to lived to get our daughter Phoenix blessed, we were so excited. Well at least I was. I love going back to my former home it makes me feel all warm and tingly inside. Besides I miss my friends, and I think for the most part they miss me. Anyway on to the meat of the story. We arrive at church with our new bundle of joy super excited. We speak with our Bishop to get the specifics on Phoenix's name and if I have enough time to nurse her before sacrament starts. This was her second Sunday in Church so she was a little nervous on her big day. We sit, church starts, my hubby is called to bring our pride and joy up to be blessed. WHERE'S MARQUIS? (Our sixteen year old). He is nowhere to be found. So the blessing proceeds without him. Blessing is done, still no Marquis. I am starting to get worried. Maybe he is in the bathroom on the toilet having some issues. So I send my husband to look for him. Still no Marquis. So we text him. A few minutes later he comes waltzing through the chapel doors. Where were you, I said? Here gives us a story about how he got stuck talking to Ashley and her mom, and could not get away. I hope the look on my face of I don't care about Ashely or her mom got the point across of how angry I was. Needless to say I think he felt bad. I tried not to make it to obvious that I was upset. Oh well such as life!

Blog has moved
I have decided to move my blog to what seems to be a more friendlier blogging enviroment. So that being said I hope you enjoy some of my crazy ramblings. What can I say, I need an outlet. I just moved to this crazy town, (okay maybe not just move, I have been here 8 months) but I am bored out of my head and the only thing that keeps me from driving back to Central Florida is my marrage, I love my husband. Anyway this is where you will be able to find the lastest and greatest and not so greatest going ons with us. So please enjoy!
